26th November 2013 Mt. Biking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny then dark ! Max Speed: Distance Covered: I have been working if you can call sitting in a van all day looking after traffic lights working but that’s Traffic Management for you!!! But I have been getting home early afternoon :) so after several days of cutting wood for our lovely open fire today was the first chance to get out on the bike as the weather was so nice :) So at 3 in the afternoon I set off with my camera heading first for The Grove and through the woods seeing a couple of squirrels, I continued along Gulpher Road to the golf club. I then headed off across the golf course towards Felixstowe Ferry just as the sun was setting :) I stopped to take a few pics and then went straight to the tender park at the back of the boat yard where I witnessed the most wonderful sunset!!!! :) I stayed for ages snapping, wishing I had my tripod!!! With sun now gone it was time to head back along the beach path to The Dip, after a short section on the road I then joined the prom at The Fludgers cycling all the way to the dock to pick Mag up from her temp job in a shipping office. We the then biked back home and in all I was out two and a half hours – top afternoon :) Photo Gallery here |
